Who we are

StatementKit is a web application that converts PDF bank and credit card statements into CSV, Excel, QuickBooks, and OFX files. We are operated by Cheema Tech Inc.

What we collect

When you use the app without an account

• The PDF you upload (processed immediately, not permanently stored)
• A cookie to track your free conversion count

When you create an account

• Your email address
• The PDFs you upload and the transaction data extracted from them

When you subscribe

Payment is handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

• To extract transactions from your PDF and generate your download file
• To send you a confirmation email after each conversion
• To manage your account and subscription

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

How long we keep it

• Free accounts: your original PDF is deleted after 30 days. Your transaction data is kept so you can re-export anytime.
• Pro and Pro Max accounts: your PDFs and transaction data are kept as long as your account is active.
• If you delete your account: everything is deleted within 30 days.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services to operate StatementKit:

Your PDF content is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models. See anthropic.com/privacy.

Cookies

We use two cookies:

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in
• sk_anon_count — tracks free conversions for users without an account

No advertising cookies. No tracking cookies. No third-party analytics cookies.

Your rights

You can at any time:

• Export all your data from the Files page
• Delete your account by emailing ajay@cheematech.ca
• Ask us what data we hold about you

Security

Your PDFs are uploaded over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Files are stored securely in Supabase with access controls so only you can see your files.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will email you. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
